Beluran District Council<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beluran District Council is a Local Authority under the Ministry of Local Government and Housing, established in 1961.<\/p>\n

The area governed by the Beluran District Council covers approximately 4,590 acres, encompassing two townships as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Beluran Town, with an area of approximately 3,840 acres.<\/p>\n

2.Paitan Small Town, covering 750 acres, which is still in the development phase.<\/p>\n

The Beluran District Council was first formed in 1972 with only one clerk, and initially, it was administered by the Beluran District Office. By 1974, the Council had one Works Officer, two permanent staff members, and seven general laborers.<\/p>\n

In total, the Beluran District Council has been administered by 18 Council Members, one Executive Officer appointed by the Ministry of Local Government and Housing, and the Chairman of the Council is the Beluran District Officer. The Council's administration moved from the Beluran District Office building to its own premises on January 1, 1993.\n\nThe Executive Officers who have served in the Beluran District Council are as follows:<\/p>\n

Latar BelakangMajlis Daerah BeluranMajlis Daerah Beluran adalah satu Badan Kuasa Tempatan dibawah Kementerian Kerajaan Tempatan dan Perumahan yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 1961. Keluasan Majlis Daerah Beluran lebih kurang 4,590 ekar meliputi dua (2) kawasan pekan seperti berikut: 1. Pekan Beluran yang mempunyai keluasan lebih kurang 3,840 ekar. 2.Pekan Kecil Paitan seluas 750 ekar dan masih lagi dalam tahap untuk di bangunkan. Majlis Daerah Beluran mula diwujudkan pada tahun 1972 dengan hanya seorang kerani di mana pada mulanya Majlis ini ditadbir oleh Pejabat Daerah Beluran. Pada tahun 1974 Majlis Daerah Beluran mempunyai seorang Pegawai kerja, dua\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ( 2 ) orang pekerja tetap dan tujuh ( 7 ) orang buruh kasar. Pada keseluruhannya Majlis Daerah Beluran telah ditadbir oleh 18 orang Ahli Majlis, seorang pegawai Eksekutif yang dilantik oleh kementerian kerajaan Tempatan dan Perumahan dan Pengerusi Majlis adalah Pegawai Daerah Beluran. Pengurusan majlis mula berpindah ke bangunan sendiri daripada bangunan Pejabat Daerah Beluran pada 01. Januari, 1993.
