Laluan bersejarah \u2018Kawat Maut\u2019 di Sungai Muanad, Kampung Rampek Beluran<\/strong><\/em>
Laluan \u2018Kawat Maut\u2019 di Sungai Muanad, Kampung Rampek, Beluran merupakan salah satu tapak warisan yang amat penting dalam sejarah Perang Dunia Kedua di Sabah. Ia bukan sekadar laluan fizikal, tetapi simbol penderitaan dan keberanian tawanan perang yang dipaksa berjalan kaki dari Sandakan ke Ranau dalam apa yang dikenali sebagai Sandakan Death Marches.<\/p>\n

Saksi Bisu SejarahTerletak di Kg Muanad, Beluran, memorial ini menandakan salah satu titik laluan ketiga dalam siri Kawat Maut yang berlaku pada tahun 1945. Ia menjadi tugu peringatan kepada para tawanan perang\u2014terutamanya tentera Australia dan British\u2014yang terkorban akibat kelaparan, penyakit, dan kekejaman tentera Jepun. Setiap tahun, pelawat luar negara datang ke memorial ini untuk memperingati sejarah tersebut. Memorial ini bukan sekadar tugu, tetapi tapak pendidikan sejarah dan kesedaran kemanusiaan.<\/p>\n
